Steel  Billet Crankshafts

This is our premium heat treated 4140 Kohler steel crankshaft. Machined in-house, entirely from billet. Features include bolt-on counterweights, large radius connecting rod journals for exceptional strength and longevity. All horizontal surfaces are ground.  All diameters and tapers are precision ground.

Billet Aluminum Connecting Rods
 

Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341, K361 

A strong 4-bolt aluminum connecting rod. Features include 0.875" pin w/ the exception of the 10HP length which use a 0.861" pin size.  This has been the most successful aftermarket connecting rod in garden tractor pulling history. Due to this rod's large cross section and shot-peened finish, fatigue resistance is unmatched.  All of our rods require a rod bearing.

Pistons
Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341, K361

Custom forged lightweight racing pistons by Arias. Flat top w/full skirts long enough to eliminate rocking in the bore, thus preventing premature piston replacement. Complete assemblies include the piston, rings, pin, and spirolox or buttons. The lightweight tool steel wrist pin has a wall thickness of 0.090" and a diameter of 0.875" The pistons with a compression height of 0.875" and 1.000" use buttons rather than spirolox. We offer two different ring packages. They are Total Seal rings. You choose from the Standard Ring Set or the Gapless Set. The complete piston assemblies vary in prices.

Camshafts

Complete Billet Steel Camshafts with points pin ground on cam.
Available in pin thru style or solid style. Solid style cams require mounting brackets with dowel pins on each end for mounting in your block.

Steel Cam Gear
Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341, K361

Steel adjustable cam gear allows the camshaft to be advanced or retarded. This gear is included on our complete steel camshaft. You may also, purchase this gear separately.

Cast Cam
Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341, K361

Built-up Single Cylinder Cast Camshafts on your core.
Grinds for the Stock Class with the .324" lift. Grinds for the Stock Altered Class with the .330" lift with lash rule. Plus, many other grinds. Lifts up to .432" can be put on the factory cast cam. When you send in a cam, do not remove the compression release, it does not interfere with grinding.

Valves

Intake and Exhaust valves custom made to your specifications. Manufactured from high grade stainless steel with a 5/16" stem. Allow time to cut and shape to your size requirements.

VALVE BLANK - Stem will need to be shortened, keeper groove added, and head cut to size.

Large Flywheel

This is our 8" steel flywheel. Weighing approximately 22 lbs., it is a perfect replacement for the stock Kohler flywheel. We also make an ultra-light 8" flywheel weighing 16 lbs.

Heavy-duty aluminum bearing endplate.  5/8" thick to stiffen the open side of Kohler and aftermarket blocks. Drilled to accept our Auxiliary Crankshaft Support Bearing cups

Billet Aluminum Head Blank

Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341

This 1.5" thick 6061 aluminum cylinder head blank allows for the use of high lift cams and long reach spark plugs. We have drilled and countersunk for the stock 10 bolt head pattern, but the combustion chamber is left completely unfinished. This alloy can be welded. It is thick enough for cooling fins to be machined if desired. The same blank is also available in the 9 head bolt pattern.

 

Aluminum Head Blank w/ CNC'd Combustion Chambers

Engine application: K341

This is the same head blank as listed above w/ the 10 bolt pattern drilled and counter bored, but the bottom side has been decked flat and a stock altered combustion chamber has been CNC milled into the blank. This combustion chamber has been set up for stock valve sizes in the stock locations. It will accommodate 0.330" lift cams. Cooling fins can also be added to the top side. Some may also find this a great way to build cylinder heads for larger classes since the same combustion chamber could be clearanced for larger valves and higher lift. It should also be noted that this combustion chamber is machined in a true 3-Dimensional CNC milling process.

                  
 
Thick ReCast Cylinder Head Blanks

Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341

Our high quality recast 16 HP Cylinder head with additional metal in all the places you'll need it. Fins in head enable engine to cool down more quickly between runs. Valve pockets in stock location. It is made from A356 heat treated to T6 - and can be welded. It is ideal for the stock altered class and classes that require a factory look-alike head. Small valve pocket enables you to enlarge for your particular application. Upon completion of the valve pocket, you may locate and drill the spark plug hole in your preferred position. A good plug for this thick head is the NGK BP8ES. Available in 10 HP, 12 HP, 14 HP, and 16 HP. Specify when ordering.

Copper Gasket

Copper Head Gaskets available in 10 H.P., 12 H.P., 14 H.P., and 16 H.P. sizes. These gaskets have enough material for you to finish the inner edge to your own particular engine's bore and valve sizes. Choice of .031" or .062" thickness

Hi-Torque Starter

This hi-torque starter comes with a mounting bracket included. Easily starts the toughest 50.5 cu.in. Super Stock engines. It fits up close to the engine and is very light in weight.

Aluminum Front Pulley

Engine application: UNIVERSAL

Solid Aluminum Front Pulley. Will accept A or B belts. Prices include a strong steel taper coupler to adapt pulley to the front of the crankshaft. Please specify 1.25", 1.125", or 1" crankshaft nose diameter.  Hub included with pulley.

We have (2) Designs. 7" O.D. with nice patterns milled into both sides that serve as finger grips to rotate engine over by hand for checking points and tech. The 5" model serves the same purpose, but great for reduced space requirements, it also features grip grooves to aid in handling.

Auxiliary Crankshaft Bearings & Supports

Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341, K361

These auxiliary outboard bearing supports serve to add an additional bearing to the front and rear of the crankshaft immediately off the front of the block and directly off the endplate on the flywheel side. We feel that they reduce flexing of the crankshaft and aid in smoothing vibrations natural to high performance single cylinders. They are installed by placing the bearing and cup onto the crankshaft (Our cranks are already ground to accept our bearing.) The cup and bearing assembly can then be rotated and used as a drill jig to drill and tap the end of the block and endplate to accept the auxiliary support. Our supports come with eight holes drilled, any four or more holes may be used. Even if you can only accommodate supporting your crank on one end, we maintain that 'one is better than none'.

 
Billet Aluminum Oil Pan for Kohler Blocks

Engine application: K241, K301, K321, K341, K361

This super duty billet aluminum oil pan weighs in under 5 lbs and has material added where it is needed. It comes with a magnetic drain plug and a shallow sump area.  Capacity is between 1 and 1.5 quarts depending on your stroke combination. It has high quality steel thread inserts where the pan bolts to the chassis to ensure that it won't wear out or pull threads when going in and out of your chassis. It also comes with (4) hardened washers to go under the heads of the bolts to properly secure the oil pan to your block.  This oil pan is the full 1.062" thickness, the SAME as stock, it does NOT require washers under the pan to obtain proper spacing.
