Mini Spline Clutch

Engine application: UNIVERSAL

A scaled down version of our Big Spline Clutch. This unit covers a variety of horsepower applications more cost effectively but with the same tunability those using the Big Spline clutch have come to appreciate. Unlike the larger unit, this Mini Spline Clutch will not require the use of an aftermarket throw out arm. In many cases you can use your existing stock spring and/or driveshaft. As with the Big Spline Clutch, the clutch hub is built into the unit. We have included a variety of bolt hole patterns in the hub to ease adaption for a number of commonly available aftermarket flywheels. We have installed both stock wide frame and narrow frame Cub Cadet chassis with no interference problems. A support bearing is required for safety.

Triple discs friction surfaces.  Torque break-away range from 20 ft.lb. through 100+ ft.lb.

Big Spline Clutch
 

Engine application: UNIVERSAL

This hugely successful Big Spline Clutch can be tuned very easily to handle the highest horsepower engines available.. Handles 100ft.lbs.+  and remains very smooth on release. Can be slipped nearly infinitely. Cool down is maximized by large breather holes that pump cool air through the unit.

Clutch springs available in two weights:

Light (Approximately 923 lbs. pressure). Adequate for Stock/Stock Altered classes - $23.50

Heavy (Approximately 1,108 lbs. pressure). Adequate for Sport Stock, 30 cubic inch and 50.5 cubic inch classes - $26.50

 
Auxiliary Drive Shaft Support Bearings

Application: CUB CADET / UNIVERSAL

These universal auxiliary drive shaft support bearings come in (2) varieties to ease the trouble of coming up with a low drag safety loop between your clutch and the front pinion of your transaxle. Both units come drilled with universal mounting and retaining holes to allow any method of positioning in your chassis. A 1" version for our 1" driveshaft Big Spline Clutch and a 5/8" version for stock applications or our Mini Spline Clutch available.

High Performance Stock Replacement Clutch Discs

Application: CUB CADET

Upgrade your stock style single or double disc clutch with the same friction material that has made our Mini Spline Clutch Assembly so popular. We manufactured the units with the same pin hole centerlines as a stock Cub clutch, plus added 3 more holes for a total of six drive pins if your aftermarket driver can accommodate. We also increased the friction surface area slightly for more holding power. This high performance material has proven to cool better, wear longer, and generally perform much better than any of the OEM materials. Use the high performance stock replacement clutch discs in any application that you would normally use OEM Cub discs.

Lightweight Front Axle

Application: UNIVERSAL

Steel Front Axle at 8 lbs. enables you to lower the front end dramatically. It features spherical ball tie-rod ends and bushed kingpins. Axles available with the spindles welded in place or left loose for you to weld and determine your own front-end ride height.
